Nomad's exclusively designed Kilim and leather bags made by Afghan refugees. Two workshops were set up for their production by Nomad in Islamabad and Rawalpindi during the early 1990's to support the skilled crafts-persons as an income generating project for their families. These popular bags and accessories were marketed through Nomad's crafts section and in the process found an international market in the UK, France and Canada. The Afghan artisans left Pakistan in 2004.
